An air traffic controller who brought his son to work at JFK airport let the boy read some routine messages to pilots who were waiting to take off. The father apparently had so much fun, he brought another child in to do the same thing the next day. The pilots were amused, but not the FAA.
Watch below to hear the child tell pilots commands like, “JetBlue 171, cleared for takeoff” and to a departing Aero Mexico flight, “Adios, amigos.”
The FAA and the FCC remind you that radio transmissions are to be taken seriously. Except the ones heard on JACK FM.
