Jeff Beck Insures Fingers & Thumbs; Not Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes
Not the [lastfm]Beck[/lastfm] who goes by just his first name, but [lastfm]Jeff Beck[/lastfm] formerly of [lastfm]The Yardbirds[/lastfm] and one of the best guitarists of all time has insured his fingers and thumbs after an accident involving a fingertip and an alleged stew.

[lastfm]Jeff Beck[/lastfm] sliced up his fingers while allegedly making a stew. This accident actually ended up making the completion of his album a little painful… which would be expected post-finger-slice. But the greatest part? The knife mishap led to Jeff insuring his fingers and thumbs. How much you might ask?
Approximately $1,078,000 per finger. It was reported that he insured each finger for 700,000 pounds. This roughly converts to [lastfm]Jeff Beck[/lastfm] insuring both his hands for just under $11 million total.
