[lastfm]Billy Squier[/lastfm]’s “Rock Me Tonite” music video has him prancing around in a bedroom with a pink tank-top on. This is just another painful memory from the 80’s and proof of how the wrong music video can lead to the demise of your career.
Watch the video after the jump!
[lastfm]Billy Squire[/lastfm] is a respectable rock figure with some good songs like “The Stomp,” and “My Kind of Lover,” but this the choreography in “Rock Me Tonite” makes him look like Richard Simmons during a sugar rush. Rock enthusiasts claim this video lost him a lot of fans…you decide.
Highlights include Billy’s “crawl” dance move at 0:50 and his “temper tantrum/stretch” at 0:56. And who can forget the freeze frame of his shirt ripping off at 1:27.
The director of this music video is the man behind the “High School Musical” series, Kenny Ortega. Enough said.
