Following a year of sitting it out, Ozzfest will return this August for a six date, interstate tour with such bands as [lastfm]Mötley Crüe[/lastfm], [lastfm]Judas Priest[/lastfm] frontman [lastfm]Rob Halford[/lastfm], and [lastfm]Black Label Society[/lastfm].

Featuring a total of 13 bands, the festival will be a reunion for [lastfm]Ozzy[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Motley Crue[/lastfm], who last teamed up for their 1984 arena tour.  This year’s Ozzfest will offer two stages, beginning in San Bernardino, California, before going east for five more shows: Chicago; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Hartford, Connecticut; Camden, New Jersey; and Boston.

The mainstage will offer full sets from [lastfm]Mötley Crüe[/lastfm], [lastfm]Halford[/lastfm], [lastfm]DevilDriver[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Nonpoint[/lastfm]. Ozzy himself will perform old classics as well as newer selections from his upcoming album Scream.

According to Rolling Stone, [lastfm]Black Label Society[/lastfm] will headline the second stage, joined by [lastfm]Drowning Pool[/lastfm], [lastfm]Kingdom of Sorrow[/lastfm], [lastfm]Goatwhore[/lastfm], [lastfm]Skeletonwitch[/lastfm], [lastfm]Saviours[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Kataklysm[/lastfm].

Tickets go on sale May 22nd at the official Ozzfest website and Live Nation.
