At this point in his career, you’d think [lastfm]Neil Young[/lastfm] would be busy blabbing about whatever his latest project is, but he doesn’t need to. Friend and former band member [lastfm]David Crosby[/lastfm] has revealed that Neil will be working with a former [lastfm]U2[/lastfm] producer for his new album. And he may even collaborate with David.

Neil will be collaborating with Daniel Lanois who’s worked with [lastfm]U2[/lastfm] on their album Achtung Baby in addition to working with [lastfm]Bob Dylan[/lastfm] on Time Out Of Mind.
Crosby confirmed the collaboration, saying that he told Neil if he was looking for someone to harmonize with, that he’s the man, saying:
Neil told me last week that he was having a great time talking music with him [Lanois] and just relating to him. I said to him: ‘If you want a harmony, I’m volunteering.
Now it’s all up to Neil. Hopefully, he’ll want to collaborate with Crosby and workout the details at a later date and time. Until then, we’ll all have to hold our breath and wait.
