When your entire career has been muddled with lofty comparisons to perhaps the greatest rock band of all time, the [lastfm]Beatles[/lastfm], you might get sick of hearing about them. However, this isn’t how [lastfm]Oasis[/lastfm]’ former frontman, [lastfm]Liam Gallagher[/lastfm] feels at all because he’s decided to get behind a [lastfm]Beatles[/lastfm] film.
Keep reading for details on the biopic.
The film will be an adaption of Richard DiLello’s book “The Longest Cocktail Party: An Insider’s Diary Of The Beatles, Their Million Dollar Apple Empire And Its Wild Rise And Fall.” DiLello was The Beatles’ “House Hippie” while he worked at Apple Records between 1968 and 1970. And the story is supposed to come across as a humorous account of DiLello’s interactions with the famed band.
Maybe Liam just feels like he understands the story of the Beatles and their breakup now that his band has imploded and disbanded. However, he might just be better off telling his own story, rather than worrying about a story that doesn’t need to be told.
