Monkey Police Officer In Thailand

Just who are you calling a 5-year-old pig-tailed macaque anyway? If you answered Santisuk, the Police Monkey of Thailand, you are correct. But with unemployment at an all time high, how did the monkey cop the pig gig?
Read on to find out.
Truthfully, Santisuk is officially only a police mascot. He was found injured some time ago, and was adopted by local policemen in the Saliburi district of Thailand. Since then, he puts on his Monkey Police uniform every day, and goes on patrols with his human cop counterparts. He hasn’t done any arrests or stakeouts, but does enjoy sitting on top of the patrol car, receiving treats.
Someday Satisuk could be the force’s secret weapon, if they train him to fling poo at perps. And if he wants to retire to California in the future, he could join JACK FM as a board op for one of our many DJ-less shifts.
