It’s been quite a week for that rare demographic of television audiences who enjoy shows that star actors involved with sex scandals and feature the manicured beard stylings of [lastfm]ZZ Top[/lastfm]. Bones and Two and a Half Men this past week gave us both!

Read on for the low down.

David Boreanz and Charlie Sheen took a break from domestic disputes and extramarital affairs to welcome the likes of ZZ Top to the Fox crime drama Bones and CBS‘ sitcom Two and a Half Men.  [lastfm]Billy Gibbons[/lastfm], [lastfm]Dusty Hill[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Frank Beard[/lastfm] appeared in a pot-fueled hallucination of Sheen’s character, and Gibbons returned to Bones for his recurring role as Angela’s father.

The appearance marked Gibbons’ fourth time playing the father of Michaela Conlin’s character Angela Pearly Gates Montenegro. Her ‘heavenly’ middle names are a nod to Gibbons’ trademark Gibson guitar. The season finale also featured one of Gibbons classic hot-rods.

ZZ Top will join [lastfm]Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers[/lastfm] for six dates on the promotional ‘Mojo’ tour.

Check out Sheen’s character freaking out:

Vodpod videos no longer available.

When Charlie Sheen is in scenes like these, with canned laughter and all that, does he give a care about all the crap he’s been through?
