After undergoing emergency back surgery last week, Bono and company were forced to postpone their first date that kicked off their U2360 Tour in the US. The entire tour has now been put on hiatus while Bono recuperate from his bad back.
Find out when the tour will be back on and what’s gonna happen to the 80 days of U2.
The massive U2360 Tour has been pushed back until 2011 in order for lead man Bono to recover from his emergency back surgery in Munich last week. In addition to the US leg of the tour being rescheduled, [lastfm]U2[/lastfm]’s first ever headling appearance at Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. has also been canceled.
Bono has been released from the hospital and will be taking time off to rest from the surgery. His surgeon Professor Joerg Tonn commented on Bono’s procedure, “The prognosis is excellent but to obtain a sustainable result, he must now enter a period of rehabilitation. That period of rehabilitation and recuperation is a ‘minimum’ of eight weeks.”
Now, we here at Jack FM have been giving away tickets for our 80 days of U2 to prep for their show Angel’s Stadium, and nothing’s going to change for the remaining days. We will continue to give away tickets every day leading up the original show date, and all tickets will still be valid for the rescheduled dates, once we find out when that will be.
