How many times did you watch “Back to the Future II” and think, “I can’t wait for that hoverboard to be real. I want one!” Well, guess what kids… it’s happening!
Check out the deets below!
“The Hoverboard,” a project made by young, French artist Nils Guadagnin, was designed for a “Back to the Future” related art exhibit. With an electromagnetic system integrated into it, the board actually levitates, and can even stabilize in the air thanks to a laser system that’s also been integrated.
Sadly, the hoverboard isn’t really real just quite yet. It can only hover on the pedestal it’s housed on, which has electromagnets. Wah wah wah!!! But there’s no doubt we’re inching closer and closer into the future. Hoverboards today, flying cars tomorrow!
