[lastfm]Coldplay[/lastfm] is done giving the cold shoulder to the show Glee i.e. the show that’s like softcore musical theatre porn for drama geeks who failed to make it to Broadway.
Does this mean that we are going to have to listen to mediocre, auto-tuned versions of [lastfm]Coldplay [/lastfm]songs while working out at the gym this fall?

We “never meant to cause you trouble” but it’s true: Glee creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Brit alternative-rock group, [lastfm]Coldplay [/lastfm]will indeed hand over their music catalogue for use by the show.
After initially refusing, our guess is that they saw how huge the show was becoming and now are all for the “exposure.” Murphy said:
[lastfm]Coldplay [/lastfm]called a week ago and said, ‘We’re sorry, you can have our catalogue.’
Given the dark and melancholy tone of most [lastfm]Coldplay [/lastfm]songs, our guess is that they are going to be used when things on Glee get less than gleeful.
