Find out all about the scrapped plans for a new musical featuring the music of [lastfm]Depeche Mode[/lastfm] after the jump!
The musical was to be called called Playing the Angel, and would have seen the stage for the first time at the MITP Theater in Valletta, Malta. The plot centers around two teenage boys growing up and finding out about love and abuse.

There had also been talk that some of the band’s classic singles like “Personal Jesus” and “Just Can’t Get Enough” were also to see the stage.
