George Michael Arrested After Crashing Through Store Front
After a series of bad life choices over the years, [lastfm]George Michael[/lastfm] has hit an even lower low that makes [lastfm]Lindsay Lohan[/lastfm] look tame. The former [lastfm]Wham![/lastfm] superstar added another arrest to his already lengthy tally this weekend after an incident involving a Range Rover, probable drug use and a shattered glass store front sparked suspicion of unfit driving.
What could possibly have gone wrong here?
In the wee hours of Sunday morning after attending London’s Gay Pride Parade, [lastfm]George Michael[/lastfm] lost control of his Range Rover and crashed through the glass door of a photo store Snappy Snaps.
Police were snappy to arresting the trouble singer for “suspicion of being unfit to drive,” and who only recently was back on the road after a two-year driving suspension. Well, there was their first mistake.
This arrest adds to the series of erratic behavior and drug use from the singer over the years, with previous arrests for drug use in 2008, 2007 and 2006. And not to mention his infamous arrest in 1998 for “engaging in a lewd act” in a Beverly Hills public restroom with an undercover cop.
George Michael was released on bail until next month for the current incident. Remember back when George was just a snappy go-getter bringing light-hearted, danceable tunes into our lives? We do.
