Six weeks into [lastfm]U2[/lastfm] lead singer Bono‘s recuperation and rehab time from back surgery, the legendary band has announced the rescheduled dates for its scrapped second leg of the North American “[lastfm]U2[/lastfm] 360” tour. Find out the dates – including the shows in Anaheim! – after the jump.
Word came down from [lastfm]U2[/lastfm]’s camp this morning that the 2010 American and Canadian dates canceled due to Bono‘s surgery will be made up in 2011, roughly at the same time of year. The rescheduled dates begin on May 21st in Denver and wind through the western states, then up to Canada before ending July 23rd in Minneapolis.
The shows in Anaheim at Angel Stadium, originally scheduled for June 6th and 7th, will now be June 17th and 18th, respectively.
All tickets from the canceled shows will be honor for the new dates.
“We want to thank the [lastfm]U2[/lastfm] fans for bearing with us,” said Paul McGuinness, [lastfm]U2[/lastfm]’s longtime manager. “They’re the best and the band wants to get back to where they belong, surrounded by their audience.”
[lastfm]U2[/lastfm] will resume playing next month with a European leg of the tour kicking off in Turin.
If you had tickets for the 2010 shows in Anaheim, will you still be going next summer? Or did you already sell off your tickets?
