[lastfm]Aerosmith[/lastfm] members haven’t had the best of luck keeping their bones in tact this past year, with every member in some sort of injury from accidents and mishaps. Guitarist [lastfm]Joe Perry[/lastfm] has kept the trend going just one week prior to the kickoff of Aerosmith’s “Cocked, Locked, Ready to Rock” tour, after being hospitalized from a motorcycle accident last week.
Will Joe Perry’s injuries prevent him from being locked to rock next week?
[lastfm]Aerosmith[/lastfm] guitarist [lastfm]Joe Perry[/lastfm] was hospitalized after being rear-ended while riding his Ducati Monster around his Massachusetts home. Staying true to the stereotypes, a 62-year-old woman, Linda O’Brien, was at fault of the accident and charged with following too closely in her Chevy Malibu.
Perry was admitted to Morton Hospital and Medical Center after the accident, but was quickly released with only minor injuries…whew, close call! The band’s publicist Liz Rosenberg, told the Boston Globe, “Joe is home and he’s fine. All’s well and we’re all grateful.”
So looks like [lastfm]Aerosmith[/lastfm] is still “Cocked, Locked, Ready to Rock” their hearts out next week. Just take it easy, boys, your bones are in a fragile state at your age and we don’t need you falling of stages again — Steven Tyler…
