This year’s Comedy Central Roast is sure to be a spectacle of sorts, with the hairy chested Baywatch icon and German singing sensation David Hasselhoff in the hot seat as this year’s Roastee.

And to correlate the evening of comical banter, Comedy Central announced Wednesday that Family Guy creator Seth Macfarlane will use his many voices to hassle The Hoff as the official Roast Master. 

But with such an esteemed career and highly respected roles as The Knight Rider, hot pants wearing lifeguard Mitch Buchannon and popular German superstar, where are the roasters going to pull their material from? Certainly not from any of these videos…

Joining Macfarlane in the Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff, is an all-star lineup of comedians and celebrities including Pamela Anderson, Whitney Cummings, Greg Giraldo, George Hamilton, Hulk Hogan, Lisa Lampanelli, Jeffrey Ross and Jerry Springer.

The episode tapes at Sony Studios on August 1 and will air August 15 at 10 p.m. Judging from the video below of Hasselhoff struggling to chomp down a cheeseburger, his Roast is going to be “a mess” of incompetent drunk jokes. Go, Hasselhoff, go! You show that cheeseburger whose boss!

There’s no way anyone will touch his successful pop career with such a cinematic masterpiece for the video of “Hooked on a Feeling.” He really utilizes the green screen action here, trust me, you will be “hooked” on this video — There’s not a strong enough liquor in the world to erase the mental image of The Hoff skiing down a mountain in full Eskimo gear.
