We told you yesterday about Guns N’ Roses returning to the states for its first big American concert in four years, but [lastfm]Axl Rose[/lastfm] isn’t the only classic GnR member staying busy. [lastfm]Slash[/lastfm], who is cooler than you, is getting ready to head out on tour, starting in Asia on July 29th and then coming back to America on August 28th to play the Sunset Strip Music Festival.

“Not to sound cliche, but it’s a pretty kick-ass rock band, and more high-energy than most,” he said of his band.

Former drummer [lastfm]Steven Adler[/lastfm] is also on the road with his new band, [lastfm]Adler’s Appetite[/lastfm]. The band is promoting its first single while Adler is promoting his book about his years in GnR, entitled My Appetite For Destruction: Sex & Drugs & Guns N’ Roses.

Former bassist [lastfm]Duff McKagan[/lastfm], meanwhile, is helping to write the next [lastfm]Jane’s Addiction[/lastfm] record. McKagan put out a solo record last year, but was last seen playing a [lastfm]Jane’s Addiction[/lastfm] show at the Roxy on July 2nd.
