Eddie Vedder’s Softer Side Revealed!
We understand that rock stars can’t keep up the pace forever — at some point people slow down and it’s more about enjoying life than fighting “the man” — but we still maintain the right for certain expectations, which is why we’re a little surprised (and, yes, a little disappointed) to hear about [lastfm]Eddie Vedder[/lastfm]‘s involvement with a certain blockbuster romantic comedy coming out this fall.
Find out what movie [lastfm]Eddie Vedder[/lastfm] is working with below!
Rock star and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder has a song on the soundtrack to Eat, Pray, Love, the film-adaptation of the best-seller novel, starring Julia Roberts.
The song, called “Better Days”, is said to be inspired by world music, which fits nicely with the movie’s theme about a woman who sets out on a voyage of self-discovery through India, Bali and Italy.
And while the songs is described as showing “a softer yet just as accomplished side to Vedder and his songwriting,” we can’t help but feel uncomfortable at the words [lastfm]Eddie Vedder[/lastfm] paired up in the same project as one with Julia Roberts.
Kinda makes us wonder what “Jeremy” would say about all this.
