Many people mock Twitter usage (“I don’t care what you ate for lunch or your opinions on dating.”) but Twitter has become a fabulous way to get on-the-second critical news and to delve into the psyches of our favorite celebs with their incredibly personal, stream-of-conscious wonderings.

Yesterday, while waiting for Judge Walker’s final decision (he declared Prop 8 unconstitutional), millions of people tweeted that they could not stop hitting the refresh button on their Twitter feed. We were amongst those millions. Joining the voice of the enraged masses were a bunch of celebs who immediately vocalized their joy via Twitter when they heard the final verdict.

Here are some of the celebrity reactions to Judge Walker’s decision to declare Proposition 8 (the proposition that tried to make homosexual marriage illegal) unconstitutional.

Elizabeth Banks: “Go Judge Walker. I can’t wait to go to some seriously awesome weddings.”

We can’t either. We were in San Francisco when gay marriage was finally legalized and we saw hundreds of beautiful weddings. Congratulations to all who fought and won and to all those getting hitched!
