August is finally here and you know what that means— Halloween is right around the corner! We thought we were getting ahead of ourselves making patterns for our costumes (No Lady Gaga, we promise), but it seems we weren’t the only eager weeners.
Universal Studios teamed up with rocker/filmmaker [lastfm]Rob Zombie[/lastfm], not only to to scare the bejesus out of children and adults this Halloween, but also to recognize the short-form horror filmmaking genre.
An adapted, 3D version of the his bizarre, yet campy, horror flick House of 1000 Corpses will make its way to Universal Studios, Hollywood, this October.
The musician-turned-screenwriter and director is also offering horror filmmakers an opportunity to win a $1000 cash prize for best short-film and a TV broadcast of their 90 second to 3 minute work.
But the real question remains: are you man enough to see the demented Firefly family and Fish Boy in 3D?
