Rob Zombie And Alice Cooper Ready To Rock
There are some legends of metal that [lastfm]Rob Zombie[/lastfm] gets along with. Fresh off his public spat with [lastfm]Ozzy Osborune[/lastfm], and before his 3D maze takes shape at Universal City, [lastfm]Rob Zombie[/lastfm] is ready to hit the road with [lastfm]Alice Cooper[/lastfm] for the “Halloween Hootenanny Tour!”
The Hootenanny will kick off September 30 in Universal City at the Gibson Amphitheater, head south to San Diego, then trek across the country before finishing up October 20 in Tennessee. The tour had a limited run earlier in the year, and the Billings (Mont.) Gazette said “With elaborate multimedia stage shows and classic fist-pumping anthems, both artists brought much more to the stage than their music.” The [lastfm]Murderdolls[/lastfm], fronted by Zombie drummer [lastfm]Jory Jordison[/lastfm], will open.
Zombie is busy this fall; after the tour ends, he’ll be opening “[lastfm]Rob Zombie[/lastfm]’s House Of 1000 Corpses: In 3D ZombieVision,” a maze at Halloween Horror Nights in Universal City. In addition, a Zombie track, “What,” appeared recently in True Blood.
Of course, [lastfm]Alice Cooper[/lastfm]’s biggest cinematic contribution came in a slightly lighter form than “House of 1000 Corpses,” remember?
