Ronnie Wood’s New Star-Studded Album
Former [lastfm]Rolling Stones[/lastfm] guitarist, [lastfm]Ronnie Wood[/lastfm] is set to release his seventh, thats right, seventh solo album since leaving the stones. His new album, I Feel Like Playing, named after a painting he made for the cover art, is one of the biggest collaborations of the summer. The album has more superstars than the movie Valentines Day. Lets just hope it doesn’t make you wanna jump off a cliff like the movie did.
Some of the musicians that can be heard on Wood’s new album include [lastfm]Slash[/lastfm], Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist [lastfm]Flea[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Eddie Vedder[/lastfm]. Not impressed yet? Well maybe names like [lastfm]Kris Kristofferson[/lastfm], [lastfm]Billy Gibbons[/lastfm] of ZZ Top and [lastfm]Bobby Womack[/lastfm] will sweeten the deal for you.
Wood even brought in former [lastfm]Faces[/lastfm] band mate, Ian McLagan. I guess being a member of the Rolling Stones gives you some kind of pulling power.
The new album, I Feel LIke Playing, is set to release on September 27, on Eagle Records.
