Santa Claus of Rock Cuts New Cover Album With Lifetime Friends

David Crosby as Santa

We’ve always been curious as to what Santa does during his time off. Well, after making a cameo at Rabbi Schwartz’s Rosh Hashana services yesterday morning, he flew out to London to work on his upcoming album with good friends Graham Nash and Stephen Stills.

Graham Nash recently spoke to and informed them that the band’s newest album will focus on covers, one’s they have already incorporated into their live performance. Songs include: the Grateful Dead’s “Uncle John’s Band,” the Allman Brothers Band’s “Midnight Rider,” Bob Dylan’s “Girl From the North Country,” the Beatles’ “Norwegian Wood,” and Rolling Stones’ “Ruby Tuesday”. The album is about a third of the way complete.

Check out Crosby, Stills, and Nash as they perform [lastfm]The Rolling Stones[/lastfm]’ “Ruby Tuesday” at The Albert Hall in London.
