Random celebrities join together to sing Let It Be by the Beatles

by Jordy Altman

Confused by this image? Well, it’s hard to draw the majesty of the greatest Beatles cover of all time.

In a rousing “We Are The World” style music collage, washed up actors, musicians, hypnotists, and even this guy show up to a mysterious beach at sunset and to belt out their last, greatest performance under the cushion of [lastfm link_type="similar_artist_radio"]The Beatles[/lastfm] tune “Let It Be”.

We’re telling ya, EVERYBODY is here. Where else can you find James Bond hangin’ out with George Costanza? Or maybe you want to see what the entourage of Pam Anderson, Dolph Lundgren and Glenn Close looks like? It’s all here, baby.

Whether the video itself makes you want to strangle or skip, it’s purpose is to bring attention to the Norwegian television show “Glyne Tider“, or Golden Times.

The best part? These stars aren’t even singing! They’re lip-syncing to a 1987 track cut by the British supergroup Ferry Aid. So yes, you were right when you guessed that was Boy George singing out of Ricky Lake‘s mouth. Yikes.

Or, you can view the video here.
