“New York, New York” never sounded heavier. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Frank Sinatra[/lastfm] is getting the heavy metal treatment on the latest tribute album to the legendary singer.

Dee Snider of [lastfm link_type="similar_artist_radio"]Twisted Sister [/lastfm]is among the more well-known singers performing on the album, titled SIN-Atra and expected to be released on March 28.

Snider will take a whirl at “It Was a Very Good Year,” while Joey Belladonna of [lastfm link_type="similar_artist_radio"]Anthrax [/lastfm]will lend his pipes to “Strangers in the Night.”

Also appearing on the album are current or past members of [lastfm link_type="similar_artist_radio"]Deep Purple[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="similar_artist_radio"]Queensryche[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type="similar_artist_radio"]Cheap Trick[/lastfm].
