What are we gonna do this weekend? During Carmageddon?
Well, we’ve got enough frozen pizza and pop tarts to last us a while.
Looks like we’re staying in with our old friend television. Here’s our recommended viewing for the weekend.
When: Sunday July 17th @ 7 PM on AMC
AMC’s hit series Breaking Bad returns for it’s fourth season this Sunday. The show is about High School chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston). Diagnosed with cancer, Walter White seeks to pay for his treatment as well as to secure his family’s financial future before his passing.
To do so he begins to cook and sell methamphetamine with former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul).
It’s a gritty, critically acclaimed series that deserves your attention. Check it out.
When: Sunday July 17th @ 6:00 PM on HBO
Another series that’s jumping into it’s fourth season is HBO’s hit vampire series, True Blood. We’re not huge vampire fans, but we make an exception for this show, especially since its about much more interesting things than just vampires.
If you’re lucky enough to have HBO we suggest tuning in, maybe catch up on a few episodes on demand since this Sunday will be airing the 4th episode of the new season.
For those of you unfamiliar here’s a little taste of the fun.
When: Sunday July 17th @ 6:00 PM on FX
This series is set on a post apocalyptic Earth in the aftermath of an alien invasion that wiped out the majority of the Earth’s population. It stars a rag tag band of soldiers who have the balls to stand up to the alien oppressors. It’s written and produced by Robert Rodat and Steven Spielberg by the way.
The Los Angeles Dodgers will be playing the Arizona Diamondbacks this weekend. It’s an away game too, so your only choice is to watch it on television!
Saturday @ 5:10 on KCAL 9
Sunday @ 1:10 on PRIME
If you’re more of an Angels fan then you can tune in to watch your team take on the A’s.
Saturday @ 1:05 on FOX
Sunday @ 1:05 on KCOP
