Simulate Carmaggedon And Raise Hell – An Amazing Video Game Circa 1997

Why was everything so violent in the 90′s?

Before Carmaggedon shook up Los Angeles, it wasted race cars and broke my MS-DOS.

Back in ’97, I was at the top of my game. I had an IBM computer, an AOL internet connection and a really cool Winzip player. Every so often, my buddies would come over and we’d climb into my death-mobile and rampage the city. A violent blitzkrieg of decimated pedestrians and exploding cars. Hey, it was the 90′s – video-games couldn’t draw controversy even if it had the aid of a Mario Paint mouse pad. On the other hand, Carmageddon did attract some controversy – instantly making it the coolest “graphically violent vehicular combat video game” of all time.

Just check out the dude in the corner of the screen. The 90′s were weird.
