Guess Homer wanted s’more “d’oh?”
Amid weeks of squabble, it seems that the voice actors of “The Simpsons” have finally reached an agreement with their insect overlords, FOX. Our ever-yellow nuclear family will complete its 23rd season and return for a 24th and 25th.
When FOX asked voice actors Harry Shearer, Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria to take a pay-cut in the range of… oh, nearly 50% of the annual earnings, the actors fought back with claims that they would stop production.
Finally, a new deal has been struck and the show will live on for another two years, then probably another twenty-five. Which is good news for us – we’re still not convinced Maggie was so guilty after all…
