[Paying What We Want] Will The Simpsons Come To An End Over Salary Disputes?

Guess Homer wanted s’more “d’oh?”

Amid weeks of squabble, it seems that the voice actors of The Simpsons” have finally reached an agreement with their insect overlords, FOX. Our ever-yellow nuclear family will complete its 23rd season and return for a 24th and 25th.

When FOX asked voice actors Harry Shearer, Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria to take a pay-cut in the range of… oh, nearly 50% of the annual earnings, the actors fought back with claims that they would stop production.

Finally, a new deal has been struck and the show will live on for another two years, then probably another twenty-five. Which is good news for us – we’re still not convinced Maggie was so guilty after all…
