Supercuts ain’t got Jack sh*t on Gregory Burnett, a barber from Canton, Ohio.
Burnett has started a name-your-price–deal to help keep his customers and community happy by literally letting any and all patrons name their price. The Canton barber has accepted as little as $5 for a haircut, which according to their local newspaper are normally priced at $12.
“Times are hard” and “Pay what you can pay,” reads the sign outside the front yard of his shop.
Burnett’s new deal attracts old and new customers. Mike Cheek used to be a regular at the shop, but due to the impact of the bad economy Cheek has not been around, even resigning to letting his son or other relatives cut his hair these days. Cheek has even tried to “mess with it” himself.
But not anymore. Cheek now names his price and gets back to lookin’ like he did back when he was 29! Lucky guy.
So what’s it gonna be? A $5 dollar footlong or $5 haircut hmmmmmm…. decisions, decisions!
