The Allstar Team may be the only team Paul and Kobe will ever be teammates on.
Chris Paul was traded to the Lakers Thursday as part of a 3 team trade. From the Lakers: forward Lamar Odom to the Hornets and Forward Pau Gausol to the Rockets.
However approximately 10 minutes later, the trade was denied by NBA commissioner David Stern.
At least we had the best team in the NBA for a quarter.

Stern later released this statement, “Since the NBA purchased the New Orleans Hornets, final responsibility for significant management decisions lies with the Commissioner’s Office in consultation with team chairman Jac Sperling.
All decisions are made on the basis of what is in the best interests of the Hornets. In the case of the trade proposal that was made to the Hornets for Chris Paul, we decided, free from the influence of other NBA owners, that the team was better served with Chris in a Hornets uniform than by the outcome of the terms of that trade.”
Guess that means CP3 will NOT be under Los Angeles Laker fan’s Christmas tree this year.
Paul still in shock along with the rest of us here in L.A, went to Twitter with nothing to tweet but “WoW“.
So Chris Paul came and went making him the first Laker to proudly wear the purple and gold…….. for all of ten minutes.
