New Live Album From Janis Joplin On The Way

New music is on the way from [mp3com-artist]Janis Joplin[/mp3com-artist]. Live at the Carousel Ballroom 1968 was recorded when Janis was performing with [mp3com-artist]Big Brother and the Holding Company[/mp3com-artist]. The new album includes 13 tracks and 1 bonus track. The tracks come from the personal collection Owsley ‘Bear’ Stanley.

Owsley’s son Starfiner said “this is not just a live recording of Janis Joplin singing with Big Brother and the Holding Company. This is an auditory portal that…can transport you back to the short-lived but incredible world of the Carousel Ballroom in 1968.“
