Paul McCartney Has Biggest Week Since 1965. Video Games, New Album, Grammy’s, Hollywood Star
It’s been a helluva week for Macca.
Sound the alarm! Sir Paul McCartney has reinvented himself yet again. Now we can enjoy the mop-top’s music in a video game, check out his concrete caption, or listen to some new McCartney tunes during the Grammy’s on February 12!
First, The Beatles conquered Rock Band; Now, McCartney plans to compose music for video/computer games.
Sir Paul claims he will be able to target a younger demographic via video game rather than those old-fashioned CD’s. In an interview with German Publication Die Zeit he said: “It’s a fascinating market. A new computer game sells so much better than a new CD these days. Young people will hear my music for the first time in a game.”
Paul recently mentioned wanting to create “mischief” with the title of his new album Kisses On The Bottom. We like the direction this old geezer is taking... oh behave! Sort of a Benjamin Button approach, no?
The album dropped Feb 6th and features guest appearances by Eric Clapton, Diana Krall, and Stevie Wonder.
McCartney’s newly released track “My Valentine“, arrives in time for all you fellas in need of a way to lure your ladies into lovin’ this V-day. Otherwise she might have to “get herself another fool“.
Will he be playing the new single live at the 54th annual Grammy Awards Feb 12, 2012?
And don’t forget that Sir Paul McCartney will be HERE IN LOS ANGELES as he unveils his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this Thursday, Feb 9th 2012. Get there early ladies, we hear it’s standing room only.
