We at Jack have felt like the whole 3D craze with movies, televisions, and video games has gotten a little out of hand.
But the world just wanted more 3D stuff and they got it with the 3D Printer.
The 3D Printer has the ability to make 3D models of anything you can image.
From fully functional whistles to a miniature Statue of Liberty or whatever else your JACKed up mind can come up with.
According to Makerbot.com you can purchase one of these 3D bad boys for a little over $1,000.
Included in the MakerBot Thing-O-Matic 3D Rapid Prototyper Printer Kit is the hardware, some wires, some tools and the instructions because we both know that you can’t be trusted to build of these things by yourself.
Also we are a little sad that it doesn’t come with the original red and blue 3D glasses of the 80’s but we digress.
Using the 3D Printer is as easy as plugging the printer into your computer using the USB cable enclosed with the kit and BOOM! 3D Printer is ready to go.
Another cool thing about the MakerBot Thing-O-Matic 3D Rapid Prototyper Printer that sets it apart from other 3D Printers out there is that it will continually print until it’s done with all of its scheduled printings.
So say you wanted to print up a chess set.
With other 3D printers you have to program in a pawn and it will only print up that pawn then you’d have to repeat the process until your done with the whole set.
Honestly who has time for all that nonsense.
With the MakerBot Thing-O-Matic 3D Rapid Prototyper Printer you can print all of the chess pieces without reprogramming the machine.
We have seen these 3D Printers make some pretty
useless awesome knickknacks but this is one is our personal favorite: Yoda’s head.
