Black Sabbath Will Play One U.S. Show In August
Despite the recent misfortune among Black Sabbath, news has been released that the children of the grave indeed will play one U.S. show this summer!
Sharon Osbourne, wife and manager of the Prince of Darkness announced that the band will be playing a show in August, and the rest is to be announced. Patience is virtue people. Soon all this “BS” will subside and “B.S.” will shake off the chains once again.
Though the original lineup was set to reward us with a reunion tour this year, things seemed to have gone off the rails on a crazy train. Guitarist Tony Iommi was struck with cancer, and drummer Bill Ward refused to participate in the reunion until he was presented with a “signable” contract. Bassist Geezer Butler is just chillin’ like a villain.
Black Sabbath is currently in the studio in England working on the new album. Sharon Osbourne provided VH1 Radio Network’s Dave Basner with a statement of Sabbath’s progress: “They’re doing really well in the studio, gosh they must have written 15 new songs already and it’s going great.” That’s what we like to hear!
