It was really just a patch of green at the corner of Beverly and La Cienega. A one time wonderland for the youth, Beverly Park was updated into one of the most well known and visited shopping centers in Los Angeles. Oh the joy of walking around in a cluster of people and corporations, versus riding on a carousel.
Though Kiddieland was least likely to succeed, it provided a thrill for the youngsters that nowadays is hard to find, unless one drives to the boonies. Oh don’t forget about the fact that most amusement rides in the present time are controlled by tweakers.
Back in the day when humans found joy in getting chased around by swans and geese, this land served as a definite good time for wealthy divorcees and their spoiled children. Although the land has been altered, the crowd has indeed not. Come on baby let the good times roll!
