Jack’s Top 5 Post Workout Activities for Strong Muscles
We’ve been pumping iron for Jack’s Muscle Madness for about…one day now.
And in that one day of heavy lifting and awkward straining faces, we’ve figured out some fun things to do post-workout.
Get ready for your mind to be blown.
Chugging Whole Milk
It’s really pretty brilliant. When you work out, you lose all sorts of important proteins and electrolytes and…stuff…
And chugging whole milk will not only re-hydrate your body, but it’ll pump you full of Vitamin C, D, X, Z, and H!
So wipe that sweat off of your face and guzzle some milk! It does a body good.
Hot Dog Eating Contest
We hear that the most important thing to get into your body after working out is protein.
We’re not sure if hotdogs are actually considered meat, or if they have any protein in them, but we’re sure if you eat enough of them you’ll get those proteins back.
We strive for about 15.
We like to challenge ourselves both in our workouts and in life. Well…maybe not.
But we do enjoy watching YouTube videos of people failing food challenges!
What better way to show off your hot bod than to do a little streaking?
Not only is it a great way to cool off (you get dry without having to use those gross gym towels), but it’s a nice, gradual way to slow down your heart rate.
Power-walk at a nice, slow pace for the full effect.
Crowded Public Places
It’s easy. Just go to any crowded public place post-workout (we prefer the bus or subway). Be sure to sling some beads of sweat on your fellow passengers, and lap up their looks of disgust.
This one doesn’t necessarily help your body get back to normal after a hard day at the gym, but man it’s fun.
