The LA Dodgers improve to 9-1 for the season, including 6-0 at home, in a bizarre final inning against the San Diego Padres. The strange play, initiated by Jesus Guzman’s failed bunt attempt,  gave the Dodger’s their first triple play since June 13, 1998 against Colorado.

According to CBSSports, nearly everyone was shaking their heads after the Doyers turned a bizarre triple play in the top of the ninth inning. With the game tied at 4-4, Dee Gordon singled home the winning run in the bottom half of a 5-4 win on Sunday.

BOOOYEAHHHHHH

A great game to mark Vin Scully’s return. The Hall of Fame announcer missed five days with a bad cold.

Did you know?
Matt Kemp is the first Dodgers player with 6 homers within the team’s first 10 games since Wally Moon had 6 in 1961.
