Jackson Browne has added a month of fall dates to his U.S. tour, which sees him hitting the road this summer with just his acoustic guitar slung across his chest and a piano at his fingertips.

Browne’s acoustic tour kicks off July 14 in Charlotte, N.C. and makes its way across America for a month before ending just outside of rock’n'roll’s capital, Cleveland, on August 15. He’ll take a two-month break before heading back out on October 15 to play a month of shows in midwestern and western states, wrapping on November 15 in Colorado Springs. Tickets for the summer shows are currently on sale, and pre-sales for the fall tour start this week. The full list of tour dates is below.

For the tour, Browne will bring along Nickel Creek singer-songwriter and fiddle player Sara Watkins, whose latest solo album Browne appears on. Browne’s been known for intimate shows that vary each night, highlighting different parts of his illustrious discography and sharing tales of his political activism.

Browne’s most recent studio album is 2008′s Time the Conqueror, though he’s stayed busy in the last year with contributions to high-profile compilations like the Chimes of Freedom tribute to Bob Dylan and a benefit album for the Occupy Wall Street movement. He’s also made appearances at a number of tribute concerts, like Carnegie Hall’s Rolling Stones Hot Rocks concert and Woody Guthrie’s 100th Birthday.

Additionally, Browne will open for Glen Campbell’s final L.A. concert on June 24 and will perform at the Newport Folk Festival on July 29.
