Earlier this month, Crosby, Stills & Nash released their new live DVD, simply titled Crosby Stills & Nash 2012. Recorded and shot, as the title suggests, earlier this year, it’s much less controversial than their last video effort, the Neil Young-directed film CSNY Deja Vu.
That film documented the group’s 2006 tour promoting Young’s Living With War album, which included anti-George Bush anthems like “Let’s Impeach The President” and “Lookin’ For A Leader.” It was an unflinching look at the reaction that the tour got, good and bad, including footage of lots of fans (or former fans) angrily leaving venues mid-concert. CBS Local recently asked the group if those audiences would still react the same way today. Graham Nash says that that’s something he’s thought about lately, countering with, “would they say he was a great president?” Watch below.
CSN is currently in the midst of a U.S. tour.
