This wouldn’t be the first time a major news station made a massively gargantuan mistake, but oh was it a bad one!
The Olympic games is known to be one of the biggest, correction the biggest, sports events in the history of our life as homosapiens on planet earth.
When considering the magnitude of significance that the Olympic games holds in our existence, one would think that depiction and exposure of this event would be prioritized accordingly. Well, someone must have been high when they scheduled the broadcast.
According to NYDailyNews, NBC released a broadcast of Olympic gold medal winner Missy Franklin, winning her gold medal before her race was even accessible to viewers. Even worse, this was the first gold medal for Missy Franklin, so she can thank NBC for raining on her parade.
As one of the Olympic highlights on Monday night, NBC advertised the 17-year-old holding her new gold medal, right before her 100 meter backstroke race. Best believe viewers were more pissed than the star herself, and they took it out on none other than the handy-dandy-venting-machine also known as Twitter.
Take a bow NBC, proud of you!
