Venitians unite!

The city not far from our dumpy little building, that contains the name that our dumpy little building resides on, will soon be navigable via ZIP LINE!

If Venice has a zip line does this mean we can forget about cars and start transporting ourselves by zip lines? SCORE!

According to Huffingtonpost, the 700-foot track expected to be finalized in late August/September will be a reality at last. Originally scheduled to take off on July 1st, the zip line project should bring the solution to anyone with an urge to soar through the blue sky.

As Venice beach itself is visual culture shock, perusing this from a greater altitude would be like the Ghirardelli of eye candy. While spectators of the Venice boardwalk would find this eye-opening, the residents and business owners were at first opposed, causing the delay.

The City Council rejected the appeal by the skeptical residents. Once approved, the zip line would serve as a three-month pilot project. How much will being this close to the heavens cost you might ask? A highly reasonable $20 is all that the city will rob from your pockets for a little fun in the sun.

The only thing between you and utter exhilaration is approval by the California Coastal Commission. Sit tight, children of the Jack, a wind-blown ride awaits you.

Beware, if a precise amount of momentum is not present in each of your zip line maneuvers, this could be you.
