Chiggity check yoself before you wreck yoself, if you think new parking meters are bad for your health.
According to LAist, Santa Monica inhabitant Denise Barton has plans to sue the city for $1.7 billion in health damages, due to the new parking meters.
Don’t push her cause she’s close to the edge, she’s trying not to lose her head…ha ha ha ha.
Barton claims to have started feeling heath issues in April, shortly after the new parking meters were installed. She had apparent ringing in her ears, an ear infection, and tension in her neck and back. She claims these health, “issues” were due to wireless signals emitted from the new meters. Based on our guesstimate, a vast majority of adults share these same side effects due to something called life.
Assistant Finance Director Don Patterson told the Daily Press: “The Wi-Fi is very low level and only comunicates between the meter and the sensor, about 5 to 8 feet. It’s the same as someone using a cell phone walking on the sidewalk.”
She might want to take some advice from Sting and the Police and “don’t stand, don’t stand so, don’t stand so close to me-ters.”
