Amid questions about her ever-changing hair color and suitcase horror stories, Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter Kelly Osbourne talked to sister station 100.7 WZLX in Boston about rumors that her father wants to stop playing live shows.
Kelly fielded questions about Ozzy’s constant touring with his own band, and now the reunited Black Sabbath (who even headlined Lollapalooza this summer), and whether he really wanted to tour as much as he has in recent years. Does wife (and longtime manager) Sharon push him to do something he doesn’t really want to do?
“Absolutely not,” Kelly replied.
She continued: “That’s just what people write that, when my mom doesn’t give them the money they want, they say it’s all politics in the music industry because they can’t stand that a woman is smarter than them.”
According to Kelly, her dad always says he just wants to go home, but ultimately never really means it.
“He’s said that halfway through every tour he’s ever been on in his entire life, but as soon as he gets home he says, ‘When am I going on tour again?’ He was born to do it, he never wants to stop. And when he isn’t doing it, he can’t stand it.”
