According to MSN, Shawna Arnold was in labor on the way to the hospital when her water broke. Normal so far. Her husband then pulled into the parking lot of the NASCAR speedway in New Hampshire where she went into labor. This wasn’t your average pit stall.

Though the baby was delivered healthy, she was nonetheless born in the back of a car, at the NASCAR speedway. Facts are facts. The operations director at the Speedway assisted the delivery as he was a former EMT. Git ‘r’ done.

Remember that movie Where The Heart Is, where Natalie Portman gave birth to a baby in Walmart? Hopefully the babies will find each other and befriend so they can relate to their bizarre birthplaces.

Despite the mental strife she might encounter growing up, this NASCAR baby will receive two free NASCAR tickets every year of her life. Go get some. Now that’s a true American baby.
