Music Madness Monday: “Private Life” By Oingo Boingo
Mmmm, mmmm, good. It’s the Monday after JACK’s 7th Show and we just want to crawl back into our mother’s womb, suck our thumbs, and fall asleep. Boy, do you guys know how to party.
But, alas, the work week has started and we are donning our creepiest smiles à la Oingo Boingo’s Danny Elfman. But, while we’d like to hide behind the window shades of our soul and Peeping Tom out, we know that the solitude would just drive us mad. Maybe the good kind of mad, maybe the bad kind of mad, maybe a multi-millionaire famous musician kind of mad again like a la Danny Elfman, but definitely some kind of mad.
Solution? Turn a Mad Hatter Monday into a Margarita Monday with some tequila, some salt, and Oingo Boingo’s awesome 1982 album Nothing To Fear.
And, oh, in case you think that’ll take away the madness permanently, you’re wrong. In fact, you should just embrace it from here on out.
