Gene Simmons and the rest of KISS have never hid their love of the Fab Four, referring to the band as a template and themselves as “The Beatles on steroids.” Now the rockers will take the same stage The Beatles famously graced in ’64: KISS are set to perform on “Live on Letterman” at New York’s historic Ed Sullivan Theater on October 10th.

KISS’s concert will air live on CBS.com and VEVO, with an audio stream available through Radio.com, starting at 8 PM EST on Wednesday, October 10th. Not only does it mark the 50th webcast of “Live on Letterman,” but KISS’s performance comes just one day after the release of the band’s 20th album, Monster.

The band is in touring mode, having wrapped its tour alongside Motley Crue mere weeks ago. KISS will continue touring next month with South American dates.

Fans can expect both new and old songs from KISS during the “Live on Letterman” taping, ranging from the band’s classic anthems to latest single “Hell or Hallelujah.” Watch the lyric video for “Hell or Hallelujah,” which sounds like KISS in its heyday, below.
