This morning, Apple made a much-anticipated announcement about its iPad Mini–a 0.68 pound tablet computer that is only two-thirds the size of the original iPad.
At the conference in San Jose, California, marketing chief Phil Schiller stated that it’s “not just a shrunken down iPad, it’s an entirely new design.”
The livestream was only available to people using Apple devices and the Apple-computer installed Safari browser. Those with Windows, which recently announced the release of Windows 8, didn’t get to see the future of Apple.
