Despite Paul McCartney barely scraping through a possible helicopter crash recently, the Beatles just keep on truckin’. Or busin’ that is, with their once-in-a-lifetime double-decker bus pop shops that will roll through Los Angeles and New York tomorrow to sell the vinyl remasters of 14 of their LPs reports Rolling Stone.
Not only will the vinyl versions be available, but the buses will more modern musical fare like Blu-Rays, DVDs, and those things called CDs that are even becoming a little obsolete themselves.
Thank the rock gods that the Beatles finally got down with mp3s.
There will also be a special t-shirt for each city. Wonder what the Los Angeles one will look like? Swing by the Capitol Records building at 1750 North Vine St. at 9:30am, 1324 5th St. at the ICE Santa Monica skating rink at noon, or L.A. Live at Olympic and Fig at 2:30pm.
