You are some thievin’ idiots, Los Angeles. Apparently, some of you, we aren’t going to say who, because you know who you are, decided it would be awesome to steal plaques from a Veteran’s memorial in East Los Angeles reports CBSLA.com.

Thanks to whomever you are, in honor of Veteran’s Day, a $25,000 reward is being offered for the three plaques you stole from the “Cinco Puntos” Mexican-American veteran’s memorial in Boyle Heights. Interestingly enough, the plaques are only worth about $5,000 as scrap metal.

When asked about the incident an irate local man said that he thinks the thieves should be “put in front of a firing squad.”  “That’s how I feel about vandalizing our country,” he continued.

That’s a little extreme, but if you have information about the plaques, contact the LAPD immediately.
