Fans of classic rock legends Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band who packed the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, this week (December 4) were in for a treat when Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello guested on a handful of songs, with Mike Ness of Social Distortion also making an appearance.

According to OC Weekly, Morello joined the band on the show’s opening number, “Land of Hope and Dreams, sticking around to add his signature guitar sounds to “Death to My Hometown,” “This Depression,” “The Ghost of Tom Joad” and older Springsteen fan favorites “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out” and “Badlands.”

Halfway through the epic three-hour show, Mike Ness came onstage to lead the band through Social Distortion’s 1992 hit, “Bad Luck.”

It’s been a good week for Springsteen, who last night (December 6) was nominated for three 2013 GRAMMY awards, including Best Rock Song, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance.
